Capers Didn’t Gameplan For 49ers

While Mike McCarthy and the offense prepared for Patrick Willis and the 49ers defense, defensive coordinator Dom Capers opted to catch up on movies at his local theater.

“I always look forward to the postseason because it means I can take a break and check out movies I’ve missed out on.  Have you seen Les Miserables?  It’s pretty good.  A lot of Anne Hathaway cleavage in that one.”

Dom Capers had his players study the week 1 gameplan while he cleared his mind at the local cinema.

“Django Unchained was solid stuff.  I liked the part at the end where they tried like hell to stop Django but just couldn’t get it done in the end.  Love me some Tarantino.”

“Jack Reacher wasn’t too great and I usually like Tom Cruise.  I didn’t care for the character.  He was very active and kept going after the bad guys.  I would have liked it better had he just sat back and let them come to him.”

Dom Capers wasn’t concerned about preparing for the upcoming divisional round game against the 49ers.

“We played them already, duh.  There aren’t as many mysteries in this world as you think.  We have all the information we need on their personnel.”

When asked about how they might defend Colin Kaepernick, Dom Capers replied “who?”
